#TBT: Breast Cancer Awareness
October 10, 2014“Oh, how I love that city. It’s a wonderful place to live.” Those were the words I heard ever so often from Professor, Sonya Howard. She often reminisced about her time living in D.C. Coming from Savannah, Georgia, she made her twenties count by moving to the nation’s capital. Little did I know, I would one day be following in her foot steps.
Sonya Howard is a 5 year breast cancer survivor. In honor of the Breast Cancer Awareness month and #TBT, this blog post is dedicated to her. She has been a great influence in not only my life but the lives of many at Savannah State University.
The short video above is a profile piece I produced during my grad program. Enjoy the video and spread the word.
